Moab Festival Music 2025

Day 1, Aug 27, Moab, let’s go.

You land in Moab and instantly feel it – that mix of desert air and something’s about to happen. People are smiling for no reason. You grab a drink at the welcome hangout, chat with strangers who already feel like old friends. Then boom – first concert. Star Hall is cozy, kind of old-school, and the music? Hits deep. Not flashy. Just real. You’re officially in.

Day 2, Aug 28 , Music in a canyon? Yes please.

Today’s wild: you’re either floating or hiking to a hidden spot inside the red rocks – like a secret music cave. You sit down, the wind cools your face, and suddenly flutes and voices are echoing around you like the canyon’s talking back. Total goosebumps. Nothing about this feels normal, and that’s the point.

Day 3, Aug 29, Floating concert = pure magic.

You wake up early (coffee in hand) and float down the river with live music in the boat. Yeah, seriously. It’s peaceful and weirdly emotional – the kind of thing you don’t even try to describe to people back home. That night? Farm vibes, local snacks, chill music at sunset. You feel grounded. You feel lucky.

Day 4, Aug 30, Hike + surprise concert? I’m in.

So here’s the deal: you hike into the wild, turn a corner and there they are. Musicians just waiting for you in the middle of nowhere. No stage, just sky. It’s quiet, it’s raw, it’s kind of surreal. Then at night, you’re back at the lodge, watching the sunset and listening to strings while the river flows nearby. Perfect day.

Day 5, Aug 31, Mellow morning, spicy night.

Another morning hike, another hidden music gem. It’s soft and calm and makes you want to just sit still for once. But fast forward to the evening – Latin band at Red Cliffs Lodge and boom – now you’re dancing. People are clapping, laughing, moving. It’s loud and fun and wild in the best way.

Day 6, Sept 1, Park vibes + mountain views.

It’s Labor Day. The concert’s in the park. You’ve got snacks, a blanket, maybe a lemonade. Kids are running around, dogs are chillin’, music’s playing and everyone’s just  happy. There’s no pressure, no dress code, no stress. Just a chill outdoor hang with a killer soundtrack.

Day 7,  Sept 2 , Wine + music stories = yes.

Tonight’s cozy. Small café, glass of wine, and Tessa (the director) telling behind-the-scenes stories like you’re all old friends. Then she picks up her violin and whew – you remember why you came. It’s relaxed, personal, and a reminder that sometimes the best music happens in tiny rooms with good people.

Day 8, Sept 3, Low-key, high impact.

No big stage tonight – just a close-up kind of show. A few musicians, a quiet space, and you sitting close enough to see every expression. It’s not flashy, but it gets you. You leave with that peaceful feeling like your brain just took a hot bath.

Day 9, Sept 4, Deep breath kinda night.

This one’s slow, thoughtful, maybe even a little emotional. No big finale, no showy solos – just music that lets you sit in your feelings a bit. It’s the kind of night that makes you want to journal after. You walk home under the stars thinking, Yeah this is what I needed.
